Every year, the Farm Show is an event that everyone knows about. In the first week of January, the Farm Show opens up and many people file in to have a look around. This year was the 106th year of the Farm Show as it began on January 8th through January 15th. Between the food, the rodeo, and the animals, there was plenty to do. I know the FFA members enjoyed themselves.
Northern High School's FFA members attend every year. This year, they got to walk around and have a look at the different exhibits. Carried out at the Farm Show is the Midwinter Convention where four seniors received their FFA jackets: Megan Garretson, Ann Secord, Meredith Chance, and Maddy McCurdy. Not only did they receive the jackets, they also earned a keystone degree (the highest FFA degree that can be achieved in the state). Some of the FFA members even went as volunteers to work the FFA pizza stand for a couple hours.
