Farmer's Fair starts on October 14, and it takes place in the heart of Dillsburg. Farmer's Fair started in 1915, and it has been a tradition for over 117 years. It is a festival all people who live in Dillsburg look forward too. People go there for the tradition, the farm show milkshakes, and the parade. It's such a big tradition at Northern that normally the school gets two days off, so the kids have a long weekend and can enjoy as much of Farmers Fair as they can. The farm show milkshakes are thick milkshakes that the FFA has as a fundraiser, and almost everyone that goes to the fair gets one. They come in chocolate, vanilla, and mixed. In the parade there are many different floats such as the football team, firefighters, clowns, policeman, and marching band.
