On May 5, selected individuals of the Junior Class were inducted in the National Honors Society. It is an organization used to recognize and encourage outstanding high school students. Names of students were called who demonstrate excellence in scholarship, service, leadership, and character throughout the school years- the four pillars of National Honors Society. Led by Mrs. Wire and Mr. Lehman, the Senior Class of the National Honors Society also participated in acknowledging these students. Seniors were on stage wearing a robe and a NHS stole while they witnessed the induction. Speakers of the National Honors Society’s Senior Class spoke during the ceremony too. After the students were inducted, the ceremony came to a close when all inductees stated the pledge. Congratulations and great work to both the Junior Class and Senior Class of the National Honors Society!
