Impacts of Weather on Health

Change in weather should not be underestimated. It affects mental and physical health greatly for many people. Whenever the weather changes, make sure you are extra kind and understanding to everyone as much as you can be because you never know what the added impact of weather changing has on people.

For mental health when it gets colder, people struggle more with depression. There is a reason why seasonal depression is an official diagnosis. It is even proven that anxiety is worsened by change in air pressure. There are also many other mental health issues that are impacted by change in weather conditions. Given that knowledge, if you know someone is struggling with mental health, check in on them.

As for physical health, pain is always worse when the weather changes, even from cold to warm. People with health issues deal with this all the time, even when they are on vacation. Knees, joints, heads, and more can hurt. And that is not even including allergies, nausea, and everything else that can go wrong.

The best advice I can give to anyone going through this is that eventually, the weather will improve. Our bodies do adjust, even if it is hard.
